Olympic bids by companies
BUSINESSES in Sheffield are being encouraged to cash in on the 2012 London Olympics by being ready to bid for event contracts.
Sports Pulse, a firm based at Sheffield Hallam University, is meeting business chiefs from local manufacturers at a special seminar tomorrow.
The meeting, at the English Institute of Sport, will outline the potential business opportunities associated with the games, the challenges they could set, and how local businesses could benefit even without previous Olympic experience.
