Net gains from business
SHEFFIELD businesses are showing they're on the ball by backing a corporate football tournament to raise hundreds of pounds for charity.
The Royal Bank of Scotland’s (RBS) Commercial Banking Team are organising the six-a-side tournament with Sheffield FC - officially the world’s oldest football club.
Around 16 businesses have entered the tournament at Sheffield FC’s Bright Finance Stadium, including Blundells, Bright Finance, A4E and RBS.
The games on September 16 are raising money for Sheffield FC’s Boots for Africa campaign, which donates football boots to young people in South Africa.
