Mystery over head injuries
A MAN is being treated for serious head injuries after being found lying in a road in Sheffield in the early hours of the morning.
The 37-year-old was found near the junction of Rock Street and Nottingham Street in Pitsmoor shortly after midnight on Sunday.
He is in a serious condition in hospital.
Police say they do not know whether the man was assaulted, hit by a car or suffered the injuries in a fall.
