Man hurt in knife attack
A MAN was knifed in the stomach in a brawl between two gangs of men on a busy Sheffield street.
The 22-year-old, who was treated at the Northern General Hospital, was stabbed during a disturbance near the takeaways at the junction of London Road and Boston Street.
Police say the fight involved a group of Afro-Caribbean and Somali men.
It is believed two buses - a number 97 and 76 - passed by during the fight at around 11pm on Saturday and witnesses should call Woodseats CID on 0114 296 3603 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
