Man flees bedsit blaze
A MAN in his 30s fled his bedsit on Burngreave Road, Pitsmoor, Sheffield, last night after waking up to find it ablaze.
The man only discovered the fire when his smoke alarm started sounding.
Firefighters said if they had arrived five minutes later the curtains would have caught fire and the situation could have been more serious.
