Man dies in taxi crash
A MAN has died after he was struck by a taxi in Barnsley in the early hours of today.
The 46-year-old, of no fixed address, had head, leg and arm injuries and was taken to Barnsley District General Hospital.
The collision, involving a black and white Peugeot 406 taxi, happened at about 1.15am today on the A628 Pontefract Rd, 50 metres north of the junction with Abbotts Rd at Lundwood.
