Man attacked in city centre
A MAN was subjected to a horrific attack when he was slashed in the neck and stomach by a gang of men in Sheffield city centre.
The 20-year-old was walking down the Moor from Furnival Gate just before midnight when he was attacked by the gang.
He was taken to hospital with wounds to his neck and stomach but later discharged.
They have arrested four men and released them on bail pending further enquiries following the incident outside Sports World at 11.55pm on Thursday August 30.
