Making music ... and money

CHORAL singers are invited to make money as well as music at a charity concert for Oxfam.

Throughout October the charity will be running a host of musical events, including the performance with Escafeld Chorale at Banner Cross Methodist Church, Ecclesall Road, on Saturday, October 20.

Singers are invited to join rehearsals of the piece - Faur's Requiem - from 2pm, with a performance following at 7pm. Entry is 7 with all profits going to the charity. A retiring collection will also be made.
