Listen-in to website info

INFORMATION displayed on Nottinghamshire Police's website can now be listened to for the first time to help the visually impaired and those with literacy problems.

The police force and Nottinghamshire Police Authority have both upgraded their Internet sites using Browsealoud technology, aimed at people with visual impairments, dyslexia, low literacy levels, and those for whom English is a second language and who understand speech better than written text.

The service works by speaking the website content aloud.
