Leisure centre works starts
BUILDING work on a new leisure centre in Staveley is well underway - according to Chesterfield MP Paul Holmes and Council leader Ray Russell who took a guided tour of the facility.
The Staveley Healthy Living Centre is due to open in Februaryand has been designed with the swimming pool to be the centre of attraction.
Once complete it will also feature climbing walls, aerobics and dance spaces, a spa, sauna and a children’s adventure playroom
Coun Russell said: “This is a facility to be proud of.”
