Jamie dish of the day for Joanne

A COSMETICS saleswoman from Sheffield enjoyed a pukka night out when she was invited to dine with top TV chef Jamie Oliver.

Joanne Brimble, aged 36, from Mosborough, was one of 50 high-flying Virgin Vie At Home consultants and managers invited to the dinner in London by Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson.

It was held to congratulate the ladies on their hard work, but when Sir Richard was unable to attend, he asked Jamie to step in.

“Our ladies were delighted to see Jamie Oliver at their tables, where they exchanged conversation which switched from lipstick and mascara to how best to knock up a delicious supper,” said Ros Simmons, managing director of Virgin Vie At Home.

“I have worked for Virgin Vie for about five and a half years and I have met Richard Branson three times. This year he couldn’t make it so they sent Jamie Oliver along and he was lovely,” said Joanne.
