It's crasher, bang, wallop

WHEN Gatecrasher1 burned down in Sheffield this summer I was devastated - it was the end of something big. It felt like the end of an era.

But when thousands of dedicated GC worshippers worked their way to Rotherham last weekend, seeing them all made me realise something; it was only the beginning.

Magna was the ultimate, perfect, venue for the party of the year. So Gatecrasher's 14th birthday was destined to be one hell of a night. A magnificent line-up spread over two rooms, the huge industrial feel of the place mixed with the colourful outfits worn by fellow clubbers and totally mind-blowing mixing by Paul Van Dyk made it one to remember.

The Classics room was my favourite. You could see the extent of its popularity with people queuing for hours just to get in for 10 minutes!

Truly impressed, I will be keeping my eyes and ears open for what Gatecrasher have up their sleeve next.
