Inner relief road changes

MOTORISTS are being warned of changes in the city centre as work continues on Sheffield's inner relief road.

From tomorrow traffic from the city centre heading down Corporation Street will have to go around the left hand side of the roundabout at the middle of Corporation Street, over the river and then along part of the new road to come back around Nursery Street.

Currently drivers are sent around the right hand side of the roundabout.

The next part of the traffic management plan will be unveiled the following Sunday when changes will mean traffic moving down Corporation Street will be diverted along the so far unopened section of the new relief road to join Cutlers Gate and then onto the Parkway.

The relief road should be finished by mid-October.
