Hundreds of runners take on Halloween 10k race at Doncaster Sheffield Airport

The Run A Way 10k gives runners the unique opportunity to race at night on the runway at Doncaster Sheffield Airport.

The fog was thick and the night dark as thousands of runners headed to the airport on Halloween.

With Vecna and Demogorgon joining as tail walkers the whole evening was one of a kind. A 2.2K Fun Run took place before the main race, giving younger runners and families the opportunity to experience running on the runway.

This was the second race at Doncaster Sheffield Airport that was put on by Libra Races with a 5.8km race taking part earlier this year. The 10K was chip timed, with runners receiving a glow-in-the-dark medal.
