Fun and adventure

At Crich Tramway Village, trams run regularly along the mile-long track with stops at Wakebridge for the mining display, Cabmen’s shelter, Woodland Walk and Glory Mine.

It doesn’t get more authentic than their recreated period street, where most of the buildings have been rescued from cities and towns across the UK and rebuilt brick by brick. See the Red Lion pub, Derby Assembly Rooms and even the Bundy Clock at Town End Terminus which was rescued from West Bromwich.

See the Century of Trams exhibition in the Great Exhibition Hall, visit the Stephenson Discovery Centre and take a look from the Workshop Viewing Gallery. Then get out and about in the Woodland Walk & Sculpture Trail with its fun shelters, outdoor games and tunnels to peep in.

Dogs on a lead are welcome and can ride on the lower deck of the trams.
