INDIE rock stars Hard-Fi are back with a new album and a headline tour which includes Sheffield’s Leadmill on September 26.

The band have sold over a million records worldwide - albums Stars of CCTV and Once Upon a Time in the West both topped the UK chart.

Hard-Fi have announced details of their UK headline tour, which will take place this September. The run of dates will begin at Norwich’s Waterfront on September 21 and will include a London Forum show - which is already sold out - on Friday September 23.

The forthcoming shows will see the BRIT-nominated band showcase tracks off their new album, set to release this August on Necessary Records/Atlantic Records.

The quartet’s anthemic new single ‘Good For Nothing’, produced by the band’s very own Richard Archer, releases on June 19.

The song has already propelled the band to acclaim once again, achieving huge support from Radio 1 where it is currently receiving huge rotation on the A List - Zane Lowe hailed it his ‘Hottest Record in the World’ whilst Fearne Cotton made it her ‘Record of the Week’. Furthermore, the track is also enjoying countless plays from the likes of XFM, Absolute Radio and Kerrang!

After a three year break, Hard-Fi are back with aplomb and have honed their trademark sound.

With previous tracks - Suburban Nights, Hard to Beat, Cash Machine, and Living For The Weekend - already under their wings, they’re sure to break the mould once again with their boisterous up-tempo tunes. The band’s vibrant new album (partly recorded in Los Angeles and in Staines’ Cherry Lips studios) has been co-produced by frontman, Richard Archer, with the help of some highly-praised names: Stuart Price (Killers, Madonna), Grey Kurstin (Lily Allen) and Alan Moulder (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Killers).

The band surfaced on the UK music scene in 2005 with their acclaimed debut ‘Stars of CCTV’, which has now sold over one million copies worldwide. Followed by a couple of Brit Award nominations and a record-breaking run of five consecutive sold-out nights at London’s prestigious Brixton Academy in 2006, it’s safe to say the band have deservedly built a huge fanbase. Hard-Fi’s follow up album ‘Once Upon a Time in the West’ also stormed to no.1 in the UK album chart in 2007.
