CHART kings Westlife are returning to South Yorkshire and we have the dream prize every fan will want to win – tickets AND the chance to meet the band, writes digital editor Graham Walker.

One lucky Star reader and a guest will get a pair of tickets and go backstage.

Four runners-up will get a pair of tickets to the stadium show of the summer at Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday, July 30.

Ireland’s own Fab Four – Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Mark Feehily and Kian Egan – are one of the most successful boybands of the decade.

They are the only act in British and Irish history to have their first seven singles go straight to number one and have sold over 44 million records worldwide.

Having racked up 10 multi-platinum albums, the band are currently touring their 11th, called Gravity.

It was recorded and processed with the Grammy award winning songwriter-producer John Shanks in London and Los Angeles.

Safe, the first single from the album, gave them their 25th Top 10 single in the UK.

No pop band can compare to Westlife’s extraordinary success, certified by the BPI as the biggest selling band of the past decade.

Revered for their spectacular live shows they are now returning to the region for a rare outdoor performance.

Thousands of fans are set to descend on Doncaster when Westlife perform at the Keepmoat Stadium next month.

Shane Chalmers, chief executive of the Stadium Management Company, said: “We are all really looking forward to welcoming the guys from Westlife to Doncaster and making this event one for all the family. The concert will be one of the biggest events of its type hosted in Doncaster.

“The Keepmoat Stadium has been firmly positioned as a venue of choice for internationally renowned acts when wanting to visit South Yorkshire. This was illustrated when Elton John played in 2008.”

Guarantee tickets, from just £35 each, or get closer to the stage with £40.50 Golden Circle Tickets – all tickets may be subject to a booking fee.
