There is still time to buy tickets for a special evening of classical music in support of the dementia charity Lost Chord.
The popular South Yorkshire annual event, now in its 14th year, will be held on Tuesday, June 25, and features a host of special guests from the classical world, including harpist Jean Kelly, soprano Daire Halpin, pianist David Furnell and bass baritone Toby Hunt.
Following the performance at All Saint’s Church, Laughten-en-le-Morthen, guests can enjoy refreshments at Slade Hooton Hall, Rotherham, while strolling round the garden or inside the famous hall itself.
“This year we have an outstanding lineup of top artistes, all performing music that will capture the full magic of what we hope will be a beautiful evening,” said Lost Chord chief executive Helena Muller.
“And not only will our guests be enjoying fine music in a beautiful setting, they will also be supporting the work of Lost Chord in providing vital musical experiences for people living with dementia across the region.”
Tickets are £25 and include champagne cocktails and canapés at Slade Hooton Hall after the performance.
