A BUDDING Sheffield songstress could be on her way to recording at the legendary Abbey Road studios, after entering a national youth music competition.
King Edwards school pupil Frankie Vera Reid, aged 15, from Greystones, is gunning for votes in the Next Brit Thing in order to bag the top prize - recording time at the world-famous studios in London.
The acoustic singer songwriter - who cites Ellie Goulding and Genesis as her influences - recorded her debut EP, Letters, earlier this year, but is keen to get her music out to a wider audience.
She said: “To record at Abbey Road would be absolutely amazing, but I also want as many people as possible to hear my songs.
