Classic ’80s rock band Big Country are to stop off in Doncaster as part of a nationwide tour that will take them from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

The Scottish rockers, best remembered for songs such as In A Big Country, Chance, Look Away and Wonderland will call at The Leopard on November 8, the penultimate date on a UK autumn tour in which they will play at the country’s two furthest points as well as a host of venues in between.

The band are now fronted by Mike Peters, one-time singer of The Alarm, who took up the call to join Big Country after original singer Stuart Adamson’s tragic suicide in 2001.

Tickets for the concert are available from the West Street venue.
