Music star Bez is the latest big name act revealed as performing at Sheffield’s forthcoming Tramlines festival.
The Happy Mondays and Black Grape dancer will be hitting the decks with a DJ set at The Viper Rooms in the city centre as part of the three-day music festival .
Bez – real name Mark Berry – will be performing at the Carver Street venue on Friday, July 19.
Leading dance music DJ Graeme Park will be taking to the decks at the nightclub the following night.
Featuring 600 artists across 60 venues, Tramlines – the UK’s largest inner-city festival – runs from July 19 to Sunday, July 21.
Access to the main stages costs £6 a day, although entry to many of the venues, including The Viper Rooms, is free.
City centre nightclubs The Fez Club and DQ have also announced dance music line-ups during the festival.
On the Saturday, The Fez Club, on Bowdon Street, will be taken over by local brands Debug and Ryad for a 16-hour house music party.
Over at DQ, on Charter Square, festival goers will be served up a nightly mix of electronic beats from house to jungle and dubstep to techno across the three days of the festival from a handful of steel city promoters.
