More than 40 acts will take to the stage for the annual Coalfields Festival in Barnsley.

The event takes place on Saturday, July 26, at Longfields in Darton and features all genres of music including DJ sets, acoustic tunes and heavy metal.

There are various stages and tents, all sponsored by local businesses.

Early-bird tickets priced £5 are now on offer from Barnsley Hospice shop in Mapplewell, The Rose and Crown in Darton and Cam Music in Barnsley town centre.

Organisers say this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever before and there will be family attractions and stalls for all to enjoy.

There are less than 2,000 early bird tickets available. Normal admission price is £10 for adults. Under 12s get in free.
