Fundraiser Brad Jacobs has enrolled four local bands for a night of music in honour of his South Yorkshire auntie.

Catherine Wildsmith died of a heart attack in 2009.

Brad decided to pay tribute to her by organising a concert with money torwards the British Heart Foundation.

The event, headlined by Mark Jackson’s Criminal Waste Of Talent and featuring The Gingerbread Mistresses, The Harringtons and Clean Cut, will be at Hoyland Catholic Social Club, on Saturday, March 28, from 7pm.

Organiser Brad said: “I’m doing it because my auntie Catherine died of a heart attack and a charity night for the BHF is a good way of remembering her.

“I just love raising money and the connections I have with my local club and local bands makes it easier than it would be for most people.

“There are too many people to thank for making this event possible so thank you all. I hope to see lot of people on the night, when donations will be welcome.”
