AN R&B band which has been touring for 22 years will play in Sheffield tonight.
Route 66 will play at the New Barrack Tavern in Hillsborough at 9pm.
It’s the first time this year the band have played in Sheffield on their ‘never-ending’ tour.
The band used to play at The Leadmill with Dr Feelgood and at The Boardwalk with Wilko Johnson and Ten Years After.
They have also appeared at the former Jolly Buffer opposite the old Wards Brewery.
Singer Ian said: “Sheffield is a great place to play. Not only are the people warm and friendly but they are great music lovers.”
