THEY'RE on the ball!

The Rethink drop-in service in Sharrow hosted the event which saw friendly competitions in pool, table tennis, darts and dominos among adults who use city services.

Mental health problems are more common than many people realise - at some stage of their lives one in four people will be affected by issues such as depression and anxiety.

Organisers said the night was a huge success.

Ben Hague,Community Mental Health Worker at Rethink, said: "Games night was one of many events taking place in Sheffield and across the globe to continue raising awareness for the common, but often misconceived, issues surrounding mental health.

"The night was a success with a competitive but good-natured evening produced by the competitors and organisers alike."
