Furry boots clue to thief

The duo struck on Montgomery Terrace, at the junction of Infirmary Road, when the girl, thought to be around 15 years old, approached an 18-year-old and asked him for cash.

When the victim refused to hand over any money the girl beckoned to a man standing on the opposite side of the street.

He threatened the victim and ordered him to open his wallet, allowing his female accomplice to snatch some cash.

The girl was white, 5ft 4ins tall, thin, with long greasy brown hair. She was wearing a pink top, denim shorts and furry boots.
