Free nursery education project is extended
The scheme was operating in Burngreave and Shirecliffe, and at day care nurseries and children's centres in Fir Vale, Firth Park and Shiregreen.
It has been extended to Brightside, Wincobank, Mosborough, Gleadless, Intake, Birley, Hackenthorpe, Waterthorpe, Beighton, Wood-house, Handsworth and Woodthorpe.

Hide AdPupils aged three and four will be able to enjoy 15 hours of school a week, free of charge.
All nurseries and schools in trial areas will ask parents when they prefer sessions, to fit in with work and training.
Sheffield was chosen by the Government as one of 20 national Pathfinder areas where additional flexible free nursery education could be made available.
Coun Harry Harpham, Sheffield Council cabinet member for children's services, said: "Our children's centres are bringing a whole range of family support services to our local communities.
"We' re very excited about extending free nursery education and are looking forward to serving families even more effectively."
