Sheffield’s newest restaurant is planning a special section for Chinese diners.

Cosmo, which opened in St Paul’s Place in the city centre earlier this month, is to unveil a food counter selling traditional Chinese food later this year.

It already offers more than 150 dishes from 14 cuisines, but wants to cater to the city’s large Chinese population.

John Tran, manager, said: “Although we are a chain, every Cosmo has something different.

“In Doncaster there is a kebab station and in Derby we do a lot of Malaysian food and here in Sheffield there is the Thai food.

“But we are also opening a food counter for the large Chinese population here.

“It will be traditional Chinese cuisine they might have at home.”
