IT’S what the Aussies are best at, big red wines packed with fruit and spice and backed by a decent hit of alcohol. With aromas of raspberry and blackberry and a warm vanilla tone holding it together nicely but there’s not much of the spicy dark chocolate note you expect from a Barossa Shiraz or much of a lingering luscious finish. Good, rich and gluggable but £10? Not sure.
