Ottos, Hunters Bar, Sheffield, S11 8ZP
By Louisa Walker
Go to Otto’s Restaurant - the lamb tagine is out of this world! I love this place because the owners and staff are so accommodating and welcoming - and no one else does authentic Moroccan food like it.
The Grind Cafe, Cornwall Works, 3 Green Lane, Sheffield, S3 8SJ
By Sarah Hill
I recommend The Grind Cafe near Kelham Island. It has nice staff, great coffee, beautiful quiches and salads as well as lovely hand-made cakes. Their Brownies are particular delicious; you get a big portion, it melts in your mouth ... perfection.
Napoleon’s, Ecclesall Road
By Peter Holmes, business development manager, Mercury Taxis
We recently combined Mercury’s 25th anniversary celebrations with our annual golf day fundraiser and auction in aid of St Luke’s Hospice at the restaurant at Napoleon’s Casino. We chose the venue again as last year all our guests - business people from all over the area- said they had never tasted a buffet of such outstanding quality and quantity. There was an enormous array of dishes, from a delicious lamb curry to a seafood platter which can only be described as exquisite. I would recommend it to anyone planning a party.
