Flood victims' cash boost

FLOOD victims will receive a cash boost from two events held at Derbyshire's Haddon Hall this weekend.

On Saturday all admission charges to the stately home in Bakewell will be donated to the South Yorkshire Flood Disaster Relief Fund, which was set up to help residents affected by the June floods.

Activities include face painting, dressing up, musicians and Morris dancers.

On Saturday night TV personality and auctioneer James Lewis will conduct a charity auction.

The lots range from football memorabilia to a spa break. Tickets priced 30 each are available from Janet O'Sullivan on 01629 810910.
