Firm in hot water over washing machine service

PATRICIA West has been left high and dry by unreliable Servis washing machines - and the firm's poor customer service.

Patricia, aged 67, has been a month without a machine after it broke down - the third to do so in two years.

But instead of sorting it out quicksmart, Servis has been frustratingly vague.

The company says it is trying to trace an engineer who has had a vital part with him for nearly two weeks.

And despite phoning every day Patricia has found out nothing more.

Patricia, of Hall Park Hill, Stannington, Sheffield, said: "This is making me ill, and it's so inconvenient.

" I'm having to do all my washing at my daughter's house."

Action

AN ENGINEER has been located and the firm promises it will visit Patricia today.

A Servis spokesman said: "We have arranged for the repair to be completed today at her request.

"Sorry for any inconvenience."
