Firefighters busy with seven arson attacks

A SPATE of arson attacks kept fire crews from Mansfield Road station in Sheffield busy on Monday night.

Firefighters dealt with seven incidents including blazing cars on Corker Bottoms Lane, Manor, Harborough Avenue, Manor and Maltravers Place, Wybourn.

They extinguished skip fires in City Road Cemetery and Eastern Avenue, Arbourthorne.

And a bush wasset on fire on South End Road, Wybourn.

All seven fires are thought to have been started deliberately but crews said there was nothing to suggest they were linked.
