Exhibition of chapel history

CHESTERFIELD'S historic Eyre Chapel is hosting an open day to show off recent improvements and decorations.

The 13th century chapel, behind the Nag’s Head off Newbold Road, was almost derelict 20 years ago and has been restored over the years.

The open day, which will include a flower display, photographs and plans of the Newbold Conservation Area which surrounds the chapel, is on Saturday September 15 from 10am to 4pm.
