Dogs sniff out drug users

The operation led to the arrest of two men, aged 25 and 29, for possession of Class A drugs and to five cautions being issued to revellers for possession of cannabis.

Officers also arrested two 16-year-old boys on suspicion of theft.

South Yorkshire Police said the operation, on Friday night, was organised as part of an initiative to prevent students from becoming victims of crime and to reduce drug use and crime in the area.
