Dads go FREE this Father’s Day at Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
Super dads Drake, an Amur leopard, and cheetah, Brooke, are just two of the dads who will take centre stage on Father’s Day at the award-winning Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
The majestic animals will get special treatment over the June 20th-21st weekend family celebration.
Three times dad Drake welcomed a set of Amur leopard cubs at the park, at Auckley, near Doncaster, last year to give hope to the at-risk species, whose numbers in the wild dwindled to around 130 through poaching and habitat loss.
Meanwhile, 14-year-old Brooke is also a proud dad with a new litter of four cubs who are about to make their debut at the park. His two previous offspring, Kendi and Tafari, left recently to make their own contribution to the international breeding programme.
To celebrate the occasion, Dadsgo free over the Father's Day weekend: Saturday, 20th and Sunday, 21st June. The offer includes one free Father’s Day ticket per advanced admission or members admission booking with a pre booked adult, child or senior/student ticket. It is available to book online or at Guest Experience.
There is also a Hex Wildlife Hotel Father’s Day offer with free admission to YWP, a free bottle of beer and retro sweets for Dad, as well as breakfast at Wilds Cafe Bistro for the whole family valid on stays from the 19th June until the 22nd June.
Charlotte Macdonald, Director of Animals at the park, said: “This Father’s Day, we’re celebrating not only the incredible animal dads here at the park, but the father figures creating unforgettable memories with their families too.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming families for a truly wild Father’s Day to experience and learn about some of the world’s most beautiful and endangered species.”
The special Father’s Day offer runs through Saturday 20th to Sunday 21st June 2026, with an adult ticket starting from £27.99 per person. For full terms and conditions, please visit the website.
