Cycle trek to aid sufferers

A CHARITABLE Sheffield businessman is to undergo a 730-mile bicycle expedition to raise cash to help children with cancer.

Gavin Sykes from Bang and Olufsen on Ecclesall Road, and pals Tim Downing and Guy Monday will ride from Monte Carlo to Paris.

Zack Hagan, aged 11, the son of a mutual friend, has undergone chemotherapy for cancer.

The trio hope to raise 35,000 for St James's Hospital in Leeds which specialises in the treating children with cancer.
