Coach swaps Sheffield for Swaziland

RUGBY coach Steve Reynolds is hoping to convert a whole new generation of fanatics -by swapping Sheffield for Swaziland.

Steve, a teacher at Birkdale School in Broomhill, has been granted a sabbatical from April to September to travel to the small landlocked country in South Africa.

A qualified rugby coach, he will work with the charity SKRUM - Swazi Kids Rugby Union Mission - developing rugby skills, health education, and focusing on HIV awareness for boys and girls under 16. He has been teaching sport and biology for 18 years.

He said: "This is an opportunity of a lifetime."
