Climbing high in film

CLIMBERS from Sheffield who feature the film Committed will be able to see themselves at the world premiere of the movie screened at the Climbing Works, on Little London Road, near Abbeydale Road, Sheffield.

The film is a rollercoaster ride though the highs and lows of climbing in the UK. The action starts at 8.15pm on Sunday.

Dyslexia screenings

SHEFFIELD Dyslexia Centre is offering a week of free screenings for people who suspect they may suffer from the condition. Sessions are taking place between November 5 and 11, and must be booked in advance.

Charity music event

A CHARITY music event in aid of Oxfam is to be held on Sunday October 28 at the Polish Catholic Centre, Millennium Hall, Ecclesall Road, Sheffield.

Doors open at 5pm and live bands play from 6pm. Entry is a 2 donation fee.
