City youngsters put best foot forward to raise cash for elderly

LETS get ready to ramble!

Youngsters from the Greenhill Bradway Youth Centre in Sheffield showed everyone what they were made of when they took part in a sponsored walk in aid of elderly city residents.

The group donated all the money raised from the sponsored stroll to Agewell, a charity that supports older people in sheffield.

The Agewell group meets on Upperthorpe Road in Upperthorpe while the youth centre is based on Gresley Road in Lowedges.

The children raised 495 which they presented to members of Agewell at a gathering in Greenhill Park.

Youth scheme manager and centre staff Pat Betsall and Paula Smith also took part, and helped the children to hand the money over.
