City centre flats flooded
UP TO 12 flats in a city centre apartment block were affected by a flood on Wednesday night.
Plumbing problems in a second floor flat in Eyre Street caused water to leak into the properties below.
Firefighters had to force entry to the flat to stop the flow of water which was found to be coming from a faulty toilet.
The flat itself was under three inches of water and around 12 flats beneath were affected.
