City arrests at naval base
Bob Banks, Helen Lyle, Heather Hunt and River Wolton were held in custody for 12 hours accused of breach of the peace, obstruction and resisting arrest, but were later released without charges being brought.
They were among more than 170 arrests at the base, which is home to Britain's Trident nuclear submarine fleet.

Hide Ad"It was a very large blockade, with more than 500 protesters involved," said Mr Banks, 51, who lives in Grindleford. "We were there because we believe nuclear weapons should not exist."
