Cards that say a fond farewell to Lyn

A NORTH Derbyshire teacher has retired after spending 16 years in charge of her school's youngest children.

Lyn Haslam said her farewells to pupils and staff at Dronfield Infant School at the end of the summer term.

Lyn was in charge of the reception class but received handmade ‘best wishes’ cards from every form in the school.

Headteacher Kay Lovegrove said Lyn was an important member of the school family.

“Lyn will be missed by staff, children and governors at the school but we all wish her a happy and healthy retirement,” she added.
