Classic car and bike owners are being urged to sign up for a popular festival which will take place later this year.

The Lowedges Classic Car Show will take place for the fourth time at Greenhill Park on Sunday, August 11.

Last year, organisers received more than 200 entries – and within a week of sending out entry forms this year they took more than 100 bookings.

More than 15,000 people attended the show last year to see more than 200 classic cars and 50 bikes – and the event has more than doubled in popularity since it began in 2009.

Cash prizes and rosettes are given to winning vehicles on the day and entry is free.

Organiser Stephen Rich said: “We are looking for motor scooter groups and unusual vehicles for this year too.”
