Caller hangs up over BT

BT is dead keen to re-sign people who may have left in pursuit of a better deal.

Helen Longmuir, of Edenthorpe Dell, Owlthorpe, Sheffield, paid a 50 deposit after BT said she was more than welcome to return.

But six weeks later and literally hours on hold - including one marathon four-hour session - she gave up and contacted Action Desk.

A BT spokesman said: "We would like to apologise to Ms Longmuir for the delay in providing service and the inconvenience it will have caused.

"Unfortunately our system shows the order failed and this failed order was never flagged as an error.

"We would like to assure Ms Longmuir we are now working to reinstate the order and will work quickly to connect her."
