Buses help for students

The dedicated bus drivers will drive distinctive blue, turquoise and purple First buses on key student routes, to allow University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam Univer-sity students the chance to get used to a friendly face.

First spokesman Brandon Jones said: "We are aware many students can feel like a small fish in a big pond when travelling around in Sheffield.

"We have set up this dedicated band of drivers who hopefully can build up a rapport with the students to make them feel welcome in our city."
