Bus driver arrested

A BUS driver has been arrested in connection with an alleged assault on board his vehicle.

The driver of the First number 94 bus was travelling along Crookes Valley Road into Crookesmoor Road when the driver of a white van is believed to have got on.

After an altercation the bus driver is alleged to have assaulted the van driver, causing minor injuries.

The 25-year-old bus driver has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Officers are appealing for information about the incident, which happened at around 2.15pm on Thursday, August 23.
