TV LEGEND Noel Edmunds has received a top award from the Sheffield Assay Office for his work with children's charity the NSPCC.
Sheffield Assay master Ashley Carson presented Noel Edmonds with the award in recognition of his outstanding contribution in helping fight child cruelty.
The presentation was made at the Deal or No Deal studios in Bristol.
Sheffield Assay, experts in hallmarking, sponsored the third NSPCC Hall of Fame awards which honours celebrities for their work with the NSPCC.
This year Dame Judi Dench, Noel Edmonds, Tracey Emin, Carl and Michaela Fogarty, Torey Hayden and Nicholas Hoult were all inducted into the Hall of Fame.
“The Sheffield Assay Office is delighted to support for the NSPCC, ” said Mr Carson.
Noel said: “I strongly believe that we have to improve the way we treat children, it is shocking to think of the numbers of children who are still suffering abuse, neglect and cruelty.”
