One of the many highlights of the 2020 festival will be the performance of Three Lions by headliners The Lightning Seeds just a week before Euro 2020.
The Ian Broudie fronted Liverpool band famously teamed up with David Baddiel and Frank Skinner for the football anthem which has already been to number one three times, in 1996, 1998 and again in 2018.
Toby said of the festival: “This is now our annual celebration of music and comedy – and we believe the amazing line up is the best yet.
“Our main stage will be opened by Tiny Barbara’s Surf Club, fronted by Big Shaun of Everly Pregnant Brothers.
“What follows is an afternoon 80s and 90s party fronted by local legends Jive Bunny and The Mastermixers. They will play their own set and also introduce live guests Rozalla, Hazell Dean, Dario G and Kenny Thomas.
“Soul Sensation are back, they are fabulous and always go down well with our crowds. Counting our theme of Tea Time Tributes this year will be the amazing Complete Madness.
“As the evening draws in, Space will take to the stage with hits like Neigbourhood and Female Of The Species.”
Co-organiser Steve added: “Bang Bang Romeo should have been here in 2019 but were called upon to support Pink on her world tour, so they are coming in 2020 for us all to see what we missed!
“The Feeling are back on tour this year, with lead singer Dan having spent a little time writing the award winning West End Musical and now film Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
“Finally, The Lightning Seeds will bring their unmistakeable sound to the Wentworth stage as the night draws to a close. Just a week before Euro 2020, we’ll be bouncing to Three Lions.
“It’s Rotherham’s big party, we’d love you to join in.”
