Star Wars actors at Sheffield Comic-Con sci-fi event

Bramall Lane will be home to cosplayers, not football players, during an event for fans of science fiction.

Special guests at Sheffield Comic-Con at Sheffield FC’s stadium on Sunday, November 17 are actors Guy Henry, Angus MacInnes and Richard Franklin.

Guy has had roles in Harry Potter The Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2 and V for Vendetta and performed in a CGI re-creation of Peter Cushing’s character Grand Moff Tarkin for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Angus is most famous as rebel pilot Gold Leader in Star Wars episode IV: A New Hope and has appeared in Judge Dredd, Hellbound: Hellraiser II and Hellboy.

Richard has been in Blake’s 7 and Doctor Who and was a Death Star engineer in Rogue One.

The event, which runs from 11am to 4pm, also features cosplay costume competitions, stalls, comic book art and special effects make-up.
